CORE CT UPGRADE

Over the past two years, the State has been engaged in a modernization project of their HR/Payroll/Financials System (Core-CT) to ensure the system is up to date from a security and functionality perspective. This project began with back-end infrastructure changes which went live in 2023. Now, on November 25, 2024, the new “Fluid User Interface” will be rolled out to employees across the state.  

The Fluid User Interface will not only bring a modern look and feel to Core-CT, but it is designed to be used on mobile devices as well as laptops and desktops, regardless of the operating system being used. This will improve end user access to Core-CT, as paystubs, timesheets, and approval screens can be easily rendered from an individual’s mobile device.
