The Office of Policy and Research coordinates submission of all public higher education institutions in Connecticut to the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) at the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). Submission of a wide range of data to the federal government is a requirement for participation in federal student aid programs under Title IV of the Higher Education Opportunity Act.
