Theresa Eberhard Asch - Secretary
Theresa Eberhard Asch was an educator in Brookfield, Conn., for 30 years before her retirement in 2001. In Brookfield, she taught various elementary grades for 14 years before becoming assistant principal of Whisconier Middle School, where she served for 16 years. She is a member of the Executive Committee as secretary of the board and served on the Academic Affairs Committee. Eberhard Asch was first appointed to the CSUS Board of Trustees in 1997 and most recently reappointed in 2009.
Eberhard Asch was born in Danbury and attended Danbury Public Schools and continued her education at Danbury Teacher’s College, now known as Western Connecticut State University. She received her master’s degree from Western and a sixth year certificate in administration from Southern Connecticut State University.
She has also served on several board ad hoc Committees, four Presidential Assessment Committees, and the Technology Committee. Eberhard Asch is a member of Western’s Foundation Board and a member of the Alumni Association’s Board of Directors.
Her current term ends June 30, 2015.
