Ronald J. Pugliese

Ronald J. Pugliese is President of the East Hartford Chamber of Commerce. He was formerly senior vice president, Household International/HSBC where he was team leader for those responsible for government relations in 11 eastern states. He was appointed to the CSUS Board in 1997 and most recently reappointed in 2009.

Pugliese was previously president and CEO of the Connecticut Retail Merchants Association where he oversaw all aspects of government and community relations on behalf of Connecticut retailers. He was also president and CEO of Connecticut Tube Products in Woodbury.

He is a board member of the Palace Theater in Waterbury, and holds a bachelor’s degree from Western Connecticut State University.

His current term ends June 30, 2015.
