Fr. John P. Sullivan

Rev. John Sullivan, a member of the Board of Trustees for the Connecticut State University System since 1998, is pastor at St. Joseph Church in New Haven.  He also served, for four decades, as Catholic chaplain at Southern Connecticut State University.  Fr. Sullivan grew up in Hartford in a family of four children, and followed the path of his older brother who also became a priest.  Sullivan received his master’s degree in psychology from Southern Connecticut State University, his bachelor’s degrees in philosophy and theology from St. Mary’s Seminary and University in Baltimore, and an associate’s degree in fine arts from St. Thomas Seminary in Bloomfield.

His current term ends June 30, 2011.
