Angelo J. Messina
Messina began his career as a staff attorney at Carrier in 1983, and held positions within the legal departments at Carrier, UTC Corporate and Otis before becoming the director of Investor Relations at UTC. He then became vice president of Strategic Planning at Pratt and Whitney, and was also director and vice president in the UTC Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis department.
He also served as vice president of UTC Corporate Strategy and Development and vice president and chief financial officer at Carrier where he remained until 2005 when he was named vice president and chief financial officer at Otis. Before joining UTC, he held financial positions at Gerber Scientific and Price Waterhouse.
Messina is a magna cum laude graduate of Central Connecticut State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law, and holds a master's degree in management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a Sloan Fellow of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, member of the Connecticut and New York bars and the American Institute of CPAs.
His current term ends June 30, 2015.
