Areas of jurisdiction and oversight include new degree programs, research and service activities, policies governing academic matters, strategic planning process, assessment of academic effectiveness, academic conferences and international programs. - Finance & Administration
Areas of jurisdiction and oversight include annual spending plans and capital budgets, tuition and fees, biennial operating budget, funding of capital projects, affirmative action programs, litigation, policies concerning student workers and others. - Development
Establishes and reviews policies to facilitate advancement efforts of the four universities and the Connecticut State University System, ensures that gift income to the Universities and the System is maximized in order to secure the financial health of the institution. - Student Life
Areas of jurisdiction and oversight include policy development in student life matters, assessment of the quality of student life, long range planning for student life programs, and communications from and to the Student Advisory Board to the Board of Trustees. - Executive Committee
Acts for the Board of Trustees in the interval between regular Board meetings, serves as a sounding board for the CSUS Chancellor, evaluates and approves Chancellor ‘s annual Letter of Priority, reviews and receive audits prepared by the State Auditors of Public Accounts. - Audit & Risk Management
Areas of jurisdiction and oversight include seeing that appropriate accounting policies and internal controls are established and followed, making certain that CSUS issues accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with applicable requirements and ensuring that appropriate policies are in place to mitigate and guard against risk to System assets and systems. - Presidential Assessment (Ad Hoc Committee)
