While we are certainly in the midst of challenging times, fiscal and otherwise, by working together the four universities of the Connecticut State University System are poised to reach new levels of accomplishment.Providing high caliber academic experiences and quality services to our 36,000 students remains the focus of our efforts, supported by an accomplished faculty and dedicated staff of professionals. As our enrollment continues to climb, we are adapting to reduced resources, as well as faculty and staff reductions, while preserving the quality of the education we offer.
Central, Eastern, Southern and Western are vital components in building Connecticut's future - providing affordable, accessible education to Connecticut's students, preparing them to succeed close to home and around the world.
As the 2009-10 academic year begins, one cannot help but be invigorated by the possibilities!
