The 12 Connecticut Community Colleges of the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities (CSCU) will hold a Super Saturday Registration Blitz on Saturday, Aug. 6, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Individuals will have the opportunity to speak with academic and financial aid advisors and register for fall classes at each location statewide. The event will allow prospecitve students to learn more about each community college location and the programs and courses they offer.
"Our goal is to give potential students a quick, easy and accessible way to take the next step in their education," said CSCU President Mark Ojakian. "Holding this one-day event allows students to learn about programs, speak with financial aid advisors and register all at one location."
The registration blitz comes just three weeks before the start of the fall 2016 semester on Monday, Aug. 29, providing students with enough time to decide on courses and make any necessary preparations before returning to school.
"Whether someone has been considering returning to school for a long-time or it's just crossed their mind for the first time, we strongly encourage them to come out, learn more about the program they're interested in, and turn that thought into their future.
