About CT Recovery

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 recognizes that higher education is an important sector of the economy. In accordance with this Act, states may apply for ARRA funds that could be allocated to higher education constituent units.

The Connecticut State University System (CSUS) will work in concert with designated state agencies as part of the State of Connecticut's efforts related to the allocation of ARRA funds. We will be updating this web page periodically as new information becomes available.

CT Recovery Update

With Executive Order #25, issued in March 2009, Connecticut Governor M. Jodi Rell set out the procedures and requirements for Connecticut government agencies to comply with the requirements of the comprehensive federal economic stimulus package to create jobs and stimulate economic growth known as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009.

The Governor established a website to provide Connecticut residents with up-to-date information on the state's efforts, as Connecticut state agencies work with their federal counterparts to fulfill requirements necessary to receive funding, and the state puts in place mechanisms to track the funds and capture key data.
