Transfer Students
There were 3,150 students transferring into the four institutions in fall 2010, topping the previous record of 3,086 in 2008. There has been an increase of 35% in the number of transfer students over the past decade, and an increase of nearly 500 student transfers between 2005 (2,652) and 2010 (3,150).Nine of the 12 Connecticut Community Colleges have a record number of students transferring to CSUS institutions. For the first time, more than 200 students have transferred from three different colleges. Overall, the number of students transferring from Connecticut Community Colleges increased from 1,091 in 2005 to 1,558 in 2010, a jump of about 43%.
